Capital and Maintenance Projects:

Partnered with community organizations to create vision for community branding and neighborhood gateway signage. LHPID funded the design of Skillman median gateway signage

Finished hardscape design for Gateway Bridge at Skillman and 635/LBJ; partnered with Skillman Corridor TIF. Gateway Bridge to be constructed as part of funded LBJ East project.

Oversaw maintenance of public improvements at Lake Highlands Town Center and median on the Skillman corridor.

Public Safety:

Collaborated with multiple public safety resources including the Project Safe Neighborhood team of the U.S. Attorney’s office, FBI, ATF and DEA; the Dallas Police Department; and security companies.

Used DPD’s ENP program to provide patrols for both PIDs including identified hot spots.

Partnered with NE DPD’s Neighborhood Patrol officers to host events that built relationships and trust with the community improving communication.

Met regularly with apartment community property managers to share concerns and information as well as bring resources to them.

Negotiated management contracts with the City Attorney’s office.
